Over the past 24 hours, 296 combat engagements were recorded on the front line. Russian forces carried out the most attacks in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported that, as of the morning of 27 May, the 1,554th day of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine is underway.

Over the past 24 hours, 296 combat engagements were recorded on the front line.

According to updated data, Russian troops carried out 76 air strikes and dropped 239 guided bombs. The Russian army also deployed 7,089 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,568 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including 36 using multiple launch rocket systems.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Air Force, missile forces and artillery struck seven areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, one artillery piece and another key target.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian troops carried out two air strikes using six guided aerial bombs, conducted 87 shelling attacks and launched nine assaults.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, Russian units attacked the positions of the Defence Forces 13 times near Staritsa, Vovchansk, Vilcha, Hraniv, Ternova, Lyman and Kolodyazne.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled five attacks in the areas of Kupiansk, Kurylivka, Borova, Kolisnykivka and Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian troops attempted to breach defences 12 times near Lyman, Drobysheve, Dibrova and Yampil.

In the Sloviansk direction, eight assaults were recorded towards Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops carried out one attack in the Tykhonivka area.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Russian army carried out 26 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopil, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, as well as in the direction of Mykolaipil, Vilne and Kuchero Yar.

The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction. There, Ukrainian forces repelled 53 assaults in the areas of Nikanorivka, Kotlyne, Horikove, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Udachne, and in the direction of Shevchenkove, Bilytske, Serhiivka and Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian troops launched a single attack near Novokhatskyi.

In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers carried out 35 attacks in the areas of Dobropillia, Zlagoda, Huliaipole, Solodke, Pryluky, Zaliznychne, Staroukrainka, as well as in the direction of Novozaporizhzhia, Tsvitkove and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled three attacks in the direction of Shcherbakiv, Stepnogorsk and Bilohirya.

In the Dnipro direction, Russian troops attacked twice towards Bilohrudy Island.

The General Staff also reported that no signs of Russian offensive groupings were detected in the Volyn and Polissya sectors.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces suffered a further 1,000 casualties. The Ukrainian Defence Forces also destroyed one tank, three armoured fighting vehicles, 39 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, 1,307 drones, 271 vehicles and three pieces of specialist equipment.
