The Italian Defence Minister has invited Mykhailo Fedorov to become his adviser
Italian Defence Minister Guido Crosetto has stated that he offered Mykhailo Fedorov the post of his adviser. According to the Italian official, he approached the Ukrainian the very next day after his dismissal

This is reported by Reuters, citing an interview with Crozetto in the Italian newspaper *la Repubblica*.

What Italy’s Defence Minister said

Crozetto said that during a telephone conversation he had invited Fedorov to come to Rome and join his team as an adviser.

According to the Italian minister, Fedorov was touched by this offer and saw it as a sign of respect and friendship.

Crozetto also praised his contribution to the development of military innovation. He described Fedorov as one of those who had transformed modern approaches to warfare, particularly through the introduction of new technologies.

According to the minister, these decisions helped Ukraine first to contain the Russian invasion and subsequently to regain the initiative on the battlefield.

What is known

Reuters notes that following his dismissal, Fedorov received offers for other posts from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. However, according to the agency, he stated that he had no intention of holding any other government post apart from the one he had left.
