The Ministry of Energy has announced power cuts in eight regions
Eight regions of Ukraine are without power
Через бойові дії та обстріли енергетичних об’єктів частина споживачів у восьми областях України тимчасово залишилася без електропостачання.

This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.

As of 1 June, power cuts have been recorded in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Sumy, Kherson, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions.

“Energy workers are working flat out to restore power to all customers as quickly as possible. Restoration work is continuing round the clock,” the ministry said.

At the same time, they state that the introduction of load-shedding schedules is not anticipated. Distribution system operators will provide updates on changes to the power supply situation.

“We ask consumers to use electricity sparingly in the evening hours — from 18:00 to 22:00 — where possible. This helps to reduce the load on the system,” the Ministry of Energy added.

As a reminder, on the night of 1 June, the occupiers attacked Ukrainian cities with 265 drones. Hits were recorded at 18 locations, and falling debris at 12 locations. Kharkiv and Odesa, in particular, were under Russian attack during the night. A nursery in Sumy was also damaged as a result of the strike.

Damage was also reported in Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Poltava and Zhytomyr regions.

According to Vitaliy Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, critical infrastructure and civilian industrial facilities in the Korosten district were targeted overnight. Fires that broke out at the sites of the attacks have already been extinguished by State Emergency Service rescue teams.
