The PROSTOR chain of beauty and personal care shops has denied reports of its closure that appeared in the media on 20 June – the company is undergoing a period of optimisation, not liquidation.

This was reported by the company’s press office.

NUMIS Ltd, which operates the PROSTOR chain, has confirmed that, since the start of 2026, the company has been implementing measures to improve operational and commercial efficiency, including the closure of some loss-making outlets. However, the chain continues to operate in 119 cities across Ukraine, with over 380 shops and providing employment for more than two thousand people.

According to the chain’s commercial director, Olga Buchkovska, following changes to its marketing and commercial policy in May, sales per outlet have risen by more than 20 per cent compared with the same period last year. The discounts under the ‘red price tags’, which shoppers have been seeing since May, are part of a new pricing policy that will be actively rolled out in the future. Recently, over 1.5 million customers have visited the chain’s stores.

Once the optimisation and stabilisation phase is complete, PROSTOR plans to unveil its updated brand strategy and the chain’s new positioning.
