The Russian Federation’s military losses have exceeded 1.44 million troops
Total combat losses among Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion, from 24 February 2022 to 28 July 2026, have reached approximately 1,442,140 soldiers. Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defence Forces have eliminated a further 1,560 invaders.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army also lost one tank, six armoured fighting vehicles, 71 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, 16 ground-based robotic systems, 1,755 operational-tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles, 548 vehicles and tankers, as well as four units of specialised equipment.
In total, since the start of the full-scale war, Russia has lost 12,226 tanks, 25,038 armoured fighting vehicles, 46,902 artillery systems, 1,970 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,519 air defence systems, 439 aircraft, 354 helicopters, 2,054 ground-based robotic systems, 431,310 operational-tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles, 4,950 cruise missiles, 34 ships and boats, two submarines, 126,850 vehicles and tankers, as well as 4,476 units of specialised equipment.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the data is still being finalised.
