In Crimea, drones destroyed a launcher and a radar unit belonging to the S-400 system

In Crimea, drones destroyed a launcher and a radar unit belonging to the S-400 system — S-400 system launcher

On the night of 26 July, Ukrainian troops struck a Russian launcher and radar unit belonging to the S-400 ‘Triumph’ air defence missile system in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

This has been reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

According to the agency, the operation was carried out by specialists from the GUR’s Unmanned Systems Department. They tracked down an anti-aircraft missile system on the peninsula and struck it.

As a result of the attack, the Russian occupiers lost:

an S-400 launcher;
a 96L6 radar station, which forms part of the system.
