Thunderstorms on 22 June: which regions will see rain and where temperatures will reach up to +32°

What will the weather be like on 22 June?
According to the weather forecast, no significant rainfall is expected in Ukraine on the night of 22 June.
During the day, there will be brief showers in most regions, except in the south and south-east. Thunderstorms are possible in some places.
The wind will be mainly north-westerly, at 7–12 m/s.
Night-time temperatures will range from 14–19°, whilst daytime temperatures will reach 26–31°. In the eastern regions, night-time temperatures are expected to be 11–16°, and daytime temperatures 23–28°.
Weather in Kyiv on 22 June
There will be no rain in Kyiv on the night of 22 June.
During the day, forecasters predict a brief shower. The wind will be north-westerly, 7–12 m/s.
Temperatures will be 17–19° at night and around 30° during the day.
Kyiv’s temperature records
According to data from the Boris Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory, the highest temperature recorded in Kyiv on 22 June was in 2019. On that occasion, thermometers rose to 34°.
The lowest night-time temperature on this day was recorded in 1910 – 6.3°.
What will the weather be like on 23 June
On Tuesday, 23 June, brief showers are also expected across Ukraine, with thunderstorms in some areas.
In the south and south-east of the country, there will be no precipitation overnight. In the Carpathians, fog is possible in places overnight and in the morning.
The wind will remain predominantly north-westerly, at 7–12 m/s.
Night-time temperatures will range from 14–19°, reaching up to 22° in the south of the country. Daytime temperatures are expected to be 26–31°.

In Kyiv on 23 June, brief showers and thunderstorms in places are forecast.
The wind will be north-westerly, 7–12 m/s.
Night-time temperatures will be 17–19°, and daytime temperatures 26–28°.
What to bear in mind
Due to the likelihood of thunderstorms, drivers and pedestrians should take care on the roads and, during bad weather, avoid standing near trees, advertising structures and power lines.
Short-lived showers may quickly give way to sunny spells, so the weather in some regions will be changeable throughout the day.
