Ukrainian track and field athlete Yaroslava Mahuchikh won the ‘Gold’ leg of the Continental Tour in Hengelo, the Netherlands. She cleared a height of 1.94 metres.

This is reported by ‘Suspilne Sport’.

Maguchikh began the competition at a height of 1.91 metres, which she cleared on her second attempt. At this height, only one rival remained in the field — the Cuban Daxi Brison, who cleared it on her third attempt.

After that, the Ukrainian cleared 1.94 metres on her second attempt, whilst the Cuban failed to clear the bar. As the winner, Maguchikh attempted to clear 2 metres, but failed to clear this height in three attempts.

The publication notes that Maguchikh was dissatisfied with her own performance, as she was unable to clear the two-metre mark.

“I think next time I’ll come back here and jump much higher. I still need to work on my take-off position, because I wasn’t in the best form today,” said the athlete.

Maguchikh’s next event is the ‘Gold’ Continental Tour competition in Zagreb, which takes place on 24 June.

Thanks to this victory, the athlete has extended her winning streak in the 2026 season to six events, including indoor results.

As a reminder, in May, Maguchikh won the third round of the Diamond League in Morocco. On her second attempt, she cleared 1.97 metres at the start of the summer season.
