The murder of Andriy Parubiy: what is known

Andriy Parubiy was shot dead in Lviv on 30 August 2025.

The suspect in the murder was arrested on 1 September.

He later confessed to the crime and stated that it was “revenge against the Ukrainian authorities”.

The media discovered that the son of the suspect in Parubiy’s murder had fought in the 93rd Brigade and was killed in Bakhmut.

And his mother — the writer Olena Cherninka — wrote a book about her missing son.
