Parking charges have changed in Kyiv: how to get a 90% discount

In Kyiv, from 8:00 am on 27 April, the cost of hourly parking at Kyivtransparkservice car parks has changed.
In the first zone in the city centre, an hour’s parking will cost 40 UAH.
In the second zone near the centre, the rate will be 30 UAH per hour,
and in the third zone in residential areas – 10 UAH per hour.
At the same time, discounted monthly passes are being introduced for individuals who pay taxes to the Kyiv budget. The discount can be as high as almost 90%.
A monthly pass for all parking zones in Kyiv will cost 1,499 UAH.
For the second zone near the city centre, the subscription will be 999 UAH per month,
and for the third zone in residential areas – 299 UAH per month.
Employees, sole traders, owners of taxable property and working pensioners are eligible for the discounted offer. Students will only be entitled to a discount if they have taxable income.
Verification of taxpayer status and subscription registration will take place via the “Kyiv Digital” app.
Once activated, the subscription is automatically linked to the vehicle’s registration number. This means the driver does not need to manually start a parking session in the app each time.
The inspector will see the payment in the system.
Until the end of 2026, one person will be able to register no more than two such subscriptions per month.
Drivers are asked to pay attention to information signs, as the boundaries of parking zones have also been updated.
In the “Kyiv Digital” app, this update has been presented as a service for drivers with new parking rates and discounts.
Earlier, in mid-April, vehicle towing fees were increased in Kyiv. The minimum towing fee for private operators is now 1,680 UAH. Transporting a car weighing up to 2,000 kg costs the same amount if carried out by the National Police.
As reported by ThePublic, Ukraine plans to introduce a penalty points system for drivers.
