This has been reported by Gamebomb.
Information has leaked online regarding PlayStation Studios projects that are reportedly in development or at the early concept stage.
The list includes both already announced games and unconfirmed in-house projects from Sony teams. It mentions Naughty Dog, Insomniac Games, Santa Monica Studio, Guerrilla Games, Bungie, Haven Studios and other subsidiary studios.
According to the leak, the potential release schedule covers the period up to the start of the next decade. It covers a wide range of franchises – from big-budget exclusives to online and co-op projects.
Among the key titles on the list is Marvel’s Wolverine, the release of which is reportedly scheduled for 15 September 2026. Also mentioned are The Last of Us Part III and a God of War spin-off dedicated to Faye.
The article notes that most of the information is based on rumours, insider reports and early materials. Sony has not officially confirmed a significant portion of these projects.
Even where specific timeframes are given, the status of individual games may change during production.
The Naughty Dog section mentions Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, with an estimated release in 2027. Neil Druckmann is listed as the project director.
Rumour has it that the game was inspired by Elden Ring, particularly its approach to freedom of exploration. There is also talk online of internal restructuring at the studio.
Another possible Naughty Dog project is said to be a new game set in the Uncharted universe. Shaun Escayg is listed as the director, and development is reportedly underway since 2022.
The list also includes The Last of Us Part III. It is noted that Neil Druckmann has already teased the sequel on several occasions. Among the possible storylines mentioned are Tommy, the Fireflies and the Immunes.
According to the leak, Santa Monica Studio may be working on a God of War spin-off about the Fae, with a tentative release date of 2027. Cory Barlog is named as the director.
This project is rumoured to feature journeys through various mythologies, including Mayan and Asian.
The list also mentions God of War 6, possibly featuring Atreus, a remake of the trilogy, a new combat style, and Sons of Sparta 2 – a 2D series, the continuation of which will depend on the success of the first instalment.
The largest section of the leak concerns Insomniac Games. In addition to Marvel’s Wolverine, the list includes Marvel’s Venom, the status of which is reported as rumour.
The main character of Venom is reportedly to be Eddie Brock, and the antagonist – Carnage.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 is mentioned in the leak with an estimated release in 2028. Peter, Miles and Silk may appear in the game, and the Green Goblin is named as the main villain.
Insomniac Games is also reportedly working on a new Ratchet & Clank with a tentative release in 2029. The list mentions Lombaxes and a new universe.
The leak mentions Marvel’s X-Men for 2030, and a new IP for 2031–2032.
Firesprite mentions Until Dawn 2 under the working title Project Heartbreak. According to the description, it is set to be a horror game set on an island.
According to the list, Guerrilla Games may be working on Horizon: Hunter’s Gathering, with a tentative release in 2027. The project is described as a co-op game.
Horizon 3 is also mentioned in the leak, but it is noted that this game is still a long way from release.
The Bungie section mentions Destiny 3, which is reportedly at a very early stage.
Haven Studios, according to the leak, is working on Fairgame$. However, it is noted that the project encountered issues during testing and did not go down well with players.
Housemarque is listed with the game Saros, dated 30 April 2026. The article notes that it is already being touted as a contender for GOTY.
teamLFG mentions Jelly Bears – a project described as a MOBA with Smash elements.
According to the leak, Bend Studio is working on a new live-service project.
As for Sucker Punch Productions, Team Asobi and Media Molecule, there is almost no information in the list.
In conclusion, the authors of the article note that Sony is focusing on several areas at once: major single-player AAA projects, including The Last of Us, God of War and Spider-Man; the development of the Marvel universe through Insomniac Games; service-based projects such as Fairgame$ and Bend Studio’s developments; as well as co-op and experimental titles.
At the same time, the main caveat remains unchanged: roughly half of the list consists of rumours rather than officially confirmed plans from Sony.
As reported by ThePublic, media company Sony Pictures and toy manufacturer Pop Mart have agreed to create a feature film about the popular ‘Labubu’ dolls.
