Russia has reported drone attacks on the port of Taman and an industrial facility in Yaroslavl
The Operational Headquarters of Russia’s Krasnodar Krai reported that a drone had crashed on the premises of a facility in the village of Volna, in the Temryuk District. A fire subsequently broke out at the site.
The Telegram channel ‘Crimean Wind’, citing satellite data, reported that the fire broke out at an oil depot in the port of Taman.
The channel’s monitoring group stated that satellite images confirm the source of the fire on the oil depot’s premises.
The seaport of “Taman” is one of Russia’s deepest-water commercial ports. It is located in the village of Volna in the Temryuk District of the Krasnodar Krai on the Taman Peninsula near Cape Zheleznodorozhny Rog. The port is used for the export of dry and liquid cargo, including oil and petroleum products.
Mikhail Evraev, Governor of the Yaroslavl Region, stated that debris from a downed drone struck an industrial facility in Yaroslavl. According to him, there were no casualties.
The Russian Ministry of Defence stated that 286 Ukrainian drones were allegedly shot down overnight over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Rostov, Tambov, Ryazan and Astrakhan regions, the Krasnodar Krai, the Republic of Kalmykia, the annexed Crimea, as well as over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
The Ukrainian side has not yet commented on these statements.
Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, various targets within the Russian Federation have been regularly subjected to air strikes. In 2024 and 2025, oil refineries and other fuel infrastructure facilities were frequently targeted.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has previously stated on numerous occasions that the Ukrainian Defence Forces “are systematically implementing measures aimed at reducing the combat potential of the Russian occupation forces, as well as at compelling the Russian Federation to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine”.
