The Ministry of Justice has opened online marriage registration for 14 February, despite the fact that the date falls on a weekend.

Ukrainians will be able to register their marriage online via the Diya app on Valentine's Day, 14 February 2026. This was announced by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on its official website.

The ministry noted that this year, 14 February falls on a Saturday, a day when online marriage registration is not usually carried out. At the same time, the ministry emphasised that the right to start a family should not depend on the calendar, so it was decided to open the online registration service on this particular day.

It is reported that on 14 February, all digital offices of the State Registration of Civil Status Acts (DRACS) will operate as usual. Slots for online marriage registration have been opened for more than 300 couples.

To use the service, you need to select a date and available time in the "Dія" app, submit an application, and receive confirmation for the online ceremony.

Separately, the Ministry of Justice reminded that priority online marriage registration is available for military personnel in the Army+ app. It provides the ability to quickly book the date and time of the ceremony.
