Large Language Model (LLM)
Ukrainians are choosing a name from a list of 10 options. You can take part until 12:00 on Sunday, 29 March

This has been announced by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation, together with Kyivstar, is developing a large national language model — a Ukrainian artificial intelligence system that will assist in public services, business, science, education, defence and other sectors.

Ukrainians suggested over 3,000 possible names for the Ukrainian language model.

Ten finalists were selected from these:

  • Syaivo
  • Pytay
  • Slovo
  • Dzvinka
  • Hoverla
  • Whisper
  • Search
  • Core
  • Watermelon
  • Gomin.

One of the main criteria used to select the names was compliance with intellectual property law. That is why every suggestion underwent a thorough check for uniqueness and legal compliance.

Voting for the best name is now underway.

To vote, you need to:

  • open the ‘Dія’ app;
  • select the ‘Services’ section;
  • open the ‘Polls’ section;
  • select one of the 10 options.

Voting continues until 12:00 on Sunday, 29 March 2026.
