An oil depot caught fire in the temporarily occupied city of Feodosia on the night of 8 April following a shelling. The fire was reported by the Telegram channel ‘Krymsky Veter’.

In Feodosia, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, a fire broke out at an oil depot following shelling during the night of 8 April.

According to the Telegram channel ‘Krymsky Veter’, the shelling took place at 01:00. The report states that a fire broke out following the strike, and subscribers heard gunfire and explosions.

Subsequently, the “Crimean Wind” monitoring group released satellite images.

It is also noted that within an hour, the fire had become so intense that it was visible from a distance of over 20 kilometres.

According to the Telegram channel, the head of the peninsula’s occupation administration, Sergey Aksyonov, at the request of the Russian military command, gave orders not to report the strike on the offshore oil terminal.

The report also states that this is the third fire at the oil depot in Feodosia in recent times.
