During February 2026, 1,131 cases of tuberculosis were registered in Ukraine. The data was released by the Centre for Public Health.

In February 2026, 1,131 cases of tuberculosis were registered in Ukraine.

This was reported by the Public Health Centre.

According to the institution, 824 new cases were recorded out of the total number. Another 250 patients were found to have a recurrence of the disease. The other 57 cases were classified as "other," including people who resumed treatment, patients after an unsuccessful course of treatment, or people with an unknown history of previous treatment.

The Public Health Centre also reported that 216 patients were found to have drug-resistant tuberculosis.

In total, among 1,081 new cases of the disease, pulmonary tuberculosis was diagnosed in 987 people, and extrapulmonary tuberculosis in 94.

Among the patients, there were 818 men and 263 women. In addition, 183 people were HIV-positive.

During February, 673 patients were cured of tuberculosis.
