Psychologists from the State Emergency Service and the police have been working at Kyiv's resilience centres for ten days now.
For the tenth day in a row, psychologists from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) and the National Police of Ukraine have been working at the Resilience Centres in Kyiv. Every day, specialists provide assistance to people who are experiencing anxiety, fear and psychological exhaustion.
According to Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Kateryna Pavlichenko, over the past day alone, about 50 psychologists from the Ministry of Internal Affairs system were involved in the work in the capital. To strengthen the units, specialists from other regions are being sent to Kyiv, and a reserve of specialists has been formed, ready to join if necessary.
During this period, more than 11,000 people received psychological assistance at the Resilience Centres in Kyiv. According to Pavlichenko, these figures demonstrate how important it is for support to be available when it is most needed.
"The enemy continues to test us with shelling, cold and darkness. But even in such conditions, there are always those who are ready to support us," emphasised the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.
