A street named after Ukrainian hero Maksym Kryvtsov will appear in Rivne
In Rivne, one of the newly created streets was named after Maksym Kryvtsov, a Hero of Ukraine, poet, photographer, and public figure. This was reported by the Rivne City Council in a telegram.
The decision was made by deputies during a session of the city council. The name of Maksym Kryvtsov was given to a street in a residential area near Novodvirska and Akademika Krymskoho streets.
The city council recalled that Kryvtsov was a participant in the Revolution of Dignity, served in the area of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO), and voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the start of Russia's full-scale invasion. In parallel with his military service, he was involved in poetry, photography and public activities.
The 33-year-old soldier died on 7 January 2024 while performing a combat mission in the Kharkiv direction.
The city council noted that naming a street after him is a sign of respect and gratitude for his personal courage and contribution to the struggle for Ukraine's independence.
