Terrible attack in Sudan: dozens dead, including children
On the night of 5 December 2025, RSF militants attacked the town of Kalogi, first with kamikaze drones targeting a preschool, then attacking a hospital and residential areas. According to the latest information, at least 116 people were killed, including 46 children. Sources: BBC and Al Jazeera.
Medical professionals and human rights activists called the attack a deliberate strike against civilians and classified it as a gross violation of international humanitarian law.
Due to the shelling and the risk of further escalation, it has become extremely difficult to deliver aid to the victims — access for international humanitarian agencies is still blocked.
This incident is the latest in a series of large-scale attacks or mass killings of civilians that have occurred during the civil war in Sudan since 2023.
The international community has already expressed concern and called for an investigation to stop the wave of violence against civilians in the country.
