A support centre for children and families has opened in Kherson
A Children and Family Support Centre has been opened in Kherson to work with families in difficult circumstances. This was announced on Telegram by Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Kherson City Military Administration (MVA).
According to him, the centre was established by the SOS Children's Villages charity fund. Shanko noted that he participated in the opening of the new facility.
The centre will provide psychological, social and educational assistance. Its activities are aimed at supporting families who have experienced occupation, loss, evacuation and prolonged stress related to the war.
The head of the city's military administration emphasised that such spaces are particularly important for frontline Kherson, as they become a place of safety, support and recovery for children and their families.
