In Khmelnytskyi, the prosecutor who refused to undergo a disability check is being dismissed
The Qualification-Disciplinary Commission of Prosecutors imposed a penalty of dismissal from the position on the prosecutor of the District Prosecutor's Office of Khmelnytskyi city.

This is stated in the decision of the KDKP dated September 10, and is reported by Sudovyi Reporter.

Oleksandr Terletskiy has been working in the prosecutor's offices since 2004. He previously had no disciplinary sanctions and was encouraged by management. In 2020, he obtained a lifelong disability status.

In October 2024, the media reported on the exposure of the head of the Khmelnytsky Regional MSЕК, Tetyana Krupa, for illegal enrichment. During searches at her home and workplace, a significant amount of cash was found. It also became known about numerous cases where prosecutors of Khmelnytskyi region arranged disability groups for themselves with the aim of future pension payments. Due to the high public resonance, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine recommended the Office of the Prosecutor General to conduct an investigation into the establishment of disability groups among employees.

In December 2024 and January 2025, Prosecutor Terletskiy repeatedly received letters from the acting head of the General Inspection of the Office of the Prosecutor General regarding the necessity to undergo medical examination. However, the prosecutor ignored them.

Terletskiy did not participate in the KDKP meeting, stating that he was on sick leave. In his written explanations, he noted that the referral letters to medical institutions, in his opinion, were advisory rather than mandatory. Ultimately, the disciplinary commission decided that his refusal to undergo medical examination to verify the legality of the disability group establishment discredited him as a representative of the state and undermined trust in the prosecutor's offices overall.

On September 16, Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko announced that 57 prosecutors with disabilities have already been dismissed from the prosecutor's offices. An additional 228 disciplinary complaints are under review.
