Ukraine and Slovakia are planning reciprocal visits and cooperation on EU matters
This was reported by the official Telegram channel of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Support for European integration and exchange of experience
One of the main topics of discussion was Ukraine’s accession process to the European Union. Robert Fico assured that Slovakia supports Ukraine’s EU membership. An agreement was also reached on the Slovak side’s readiness to share practical experience gained during its own path to integration into the EU.
Preparations for official visits
The leaders discussed a schedule of future meetings to deepen the dialogue. Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited Robert Fico to visit Kyiv, and the Prime Minister of Slovakia, in turn, invited the President of Ukraine to Bratislava. Teams from both countries have now begun working on coordinating schedules to organise a face-to-face meeting in the near future.
