Ukraine has begun using the Sapsan ballistic missile, says Zelensky
The president confirmed the use of the new long-range weapon but did not disclose any details for security reasons

The Ukrainian military is already using the Sapsan ballistic missile on the battlefield. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky during a conversation with journalists. According to him, the Armed Forces' arsenal of long-range weapons has been replenished with new systems, including Neptunes, Long Neptunes, Palianytsias, Flamingos, and Sapsans.

The head of state stressed that he would not disclose the number of missiles used or details of their use. According to him, this is a deliberate position, as the information could be used by the enemy. Zelensky noted that Neptunes are highly effective, and in some cases, the Russian side attributes strikes to this particular complex.

The President stressed that such uncertainty is beneficial to Ukraine, as it forces the enemy to expend resources and prevents them from clearly understanding the capabilities of Ukrainian weapons. He also hinted that work on new models is continuing and Ukraine is expanding the potential of its own weapons.
