Ukrainians will begin receiving invitations to participate in the Health Screening 40+ programme
Over 800 medical institutions are ready to provide the Health Screening 40+ service
The first notifications about participation in the state programme will appear in the Дія app at the end of January.

Starting 31 January, Ukrainians will start getting their first invites to join the "Health Screening 40+" programme. The National Health Service of Ukraine (NSZU) shared this on their Telegram channel.

As noted by the NHSU, notifications about the availability of the service will appear in the "Дія" app starting this Saturday. The first invitations will be sent to citizens aged 40 and older who were born on 1 January. Subsequent notifications will be sent 30 days after the recipient's birthday.

The service gave an example: if a person is already 40 years old or older and was born on 2 January, the notification will appear in "Дія" on 1 February.

To join the programme, you must accept the invitation in the app and apply for 2,000 hryvnia. These funds can only be used to pay for medical services within the scope of screening.

The NSZU reported that more than 800 medical institutions throughout Ukraine are already ready to provide the "Health Screening 40+" service. Patients can familiarise themselves with the list of institutions or choose the nearest medical facility.

The "Health Screening 40+" programme is aimed at the early detection of chronic diseases. Basic examinations should help to identify risks in a timely manner, monitor health and prevent the development of complications.

The service emphasised that the service is free for patients and is fully funded by the state. Funds received on the "Diy.Card" can only be used to pay for the relevant medical examinations.
