On 2 February, Ukrenergo will introduce electricity supply restrictions in all regions
On Monday, 2 February, electricity consumption restrictions will be in place in all regions of Ukraine throughout the day. Hourly power cuts will apply to domestic consumers, while industrial enterprises will be subject to power restriction schedules. This was announced by the National Energy Company Ukrenergo on its Telegram channel.
The company noted that the restrictions will apply throughout the day. The reason for these measures was the consequences of previous massive Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
Ukrenergo emphasised that the timing and scope of the restrictions may change depending on the situation in the power system. Consumers are advised to follow the official social media pages of regional power distribution companies for up-to-date information on power cut schedules.
