Ukrzaliznytsia announced changes to train schedules on 1 March
Ukrzaliznytsia has published operational information on train traffic as of 1 March. The carrier notes that it is working in an enhanced mode and providing connections where the security situation allows.
Kherson region. Trains
are running in accordance with the current security situation. Passengers are advised to follow push notifications in the official Ukrzaliznytsia app, as well as announcements at stations and on trains.
Sumy and Chernihiv regions.
Regional trains run to and from Konotop. On the Nizhyn route, suburban trains run according to adjusted schedules.
Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. Bus transfers have
been organised on the section from Lozova to Kramatorsk. Train No. 101/102 connecting Barvinkove and Kherson is waiting for passengers to transfer. Regional express trains to Izium are running according to schedule.
Zaporizhzhia.
Despite night shelling and power outages, suburban trains are running. Delays of up to one hour are possible, but no cancellations are expected. Movement to and from Dnipro-Holovnyi station is temporarily restricted for trains No. 86/85, No. 128/127, No. 6 and No. 40/39. Connections between Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia are mainly provided by bus transfers.
Ukrzaliznytsia urges passengers to follow the instructions of railway staff and keep push notifications activated to receive up-to-date information.
