The government is tripling compensation for businesses for damaged property in frontline regions
The amount of compensation is being increased from 10 million to 30 million hryvnias
The Cabinet of Ministers is expanding the war risk insurance scheme for businesses.

This was announced by Ukraine’s Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

The maximum amount of compensation for damaged or destroyed property is being increased from 10 million hryvnias to 30 million. In addition, the rule whereby the amount of compensation was reduced by the value of previously received grants or other state support is being abolished.

Businesses that have already submitted applications have the opportunity to amend them until 1 May 2026. In particular, they may increase the declared amount of potential losses or add other property to the application (provided it was included in the scheme on the date of damage or destruction).

The maximum amount of compensation for insurance premiums is being increased from one million hryvnias to three million. If the contract provides for the payment of insurance premiums in instalments, compensation will also be paid in instalments — in proportion to the payments made.
