Demand for petrol-powered cars has risen in Ukraine

In March, over 13,000 units were added to the market, representing a 22% increase compared with 2025.

This is according to "Ukravtoprom".

Of this total, 2,500 units were new cars, which is 33% higher than last year’s figures. The used car segment also showed positive growth, increasing by 19% to 10,600 units.

The top-selling new cars were:

  • HYUNDAI Tucson – 212 units;
  • MAZDA CX5 – 123 units;
  • SUZUKI SX4 – 123 units;
  • RENAULT Duster – 107 units;
  • SKODA Karoq – 97 units;
  • KIA Sportage – 96 units

In the used import market, the following models lead the way:

  • VOLKSWAGEN Tiguan – 705 units;
  • VOLKSWAGEN Golf – 628 units;
  • NISSAN Rogue – 585 units;
  • AUDI Q5 – 562 units;
  • AUDI A4 – 319 units

The overall trend points to a gradual recovery and expansion of the domestic market, driven by both new car sales and imports of used cars.
