Saturday in Ukraine will be split into two weather zones: whilst the first spring thunderstorms will be rumbling in the south and east, the rest of the country will be basking in the sunshine

This is according to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre

Thunderstorm front in the south and east

According to forecasters, on Saturday 4 April 2026, an atmospheric front will bring brief showers and thunderstorms to the following regions:

  • Southern Ukraine (in particular, Odesa and Mykolaiv regions);

  • Eastern regions;

  • Dnipropetrovsk region.

The rest of Ukraine will remain in a zone of dry air, so no rainfall is expected there. However, residents of the north-east should take care: thick fog will envelop the roads at night and in the morning.

Spring continues to warm the country, but unevenly:

  • In most regions: +5...+10° at night, with temperatures rising to a pleasant +13...+18°during the day.

  • In the West: it will be significantly cooler here. Overnight temperatures are expected to be just +1...+6°, and during the day the thermometers will not exceed +10...+15°.

Weather in Kyiv The forecast for the capital is optimistic. On Saturday, Kyiv will be dry and moderately windy (north-westerly wind, 7–12 m/s). Temperatures at night will be +6...+8°, and during the day the city will warm up to a comfortable +15...+17° — ideal for walks.
