Deferrals from mobilisation are automatically extended in "Reserve+" — Fedorov
This was reported by The Public, citing a statement by Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said that most deferrals from mobilisation are automatically extended through the state application "Reserve+".
According to him, the system checks information through state registers and extends the deferral without the citizen's involvement. This has reduced the processing time for applications from several weeks to several days.
Previously, in order to extend the deferral, citizens had to submit supporting documents every 90 days, visit territorial recruitment centres and wait for a decision.
Now, notifications about deferral extensions are sent directly to the Reserve+ app.
According to the minister, the automation of the process has reduced the amount of manual processing of applications and allowed resources to be directed towards defence tasks.
Fedorov also said that work is continuing on mobilisation reform, which should provide a systematic solution to accumulated problems and support Ukraine's defence capabilities.
