The owner of the Chernihiv football club, Yuriy Synytsya, said that he would like to see Dynamo leader Andriy Yarmolenko on the team. According to him, such an invitation may come after the footballer's career ends.

The owner of FC Chernihiv, Yuriy Synytsya, has stated that he supports the acquaintance with Dynamo Kyiv footballer Andriy Yarmolenko and admits the possibility of him playing for the Chernihiv club in the future, according to Sport.ua.

Synytsia said that he knows the footballer personally and has met him several times. According to him, he respects Yarmolenko for his attitude towards his native region and his support for Chernihiv.

"I am acquainted with Andriy – we have met several times. I like him because he remembers where he comes from and which children's sports schools he attended. He constantly supports Chernihiv, and his parents live in the Chernihiv region. I have great respect for Andriy's values and behaviour, and I appreciate that very much," said Synytsya.

He noted that the FC Chernihiv project aims to promote the city and develop football in the region.

"We have the same attitude towards Chernihiv. Our key idea is to make our city famous and develop it in some way thanks to our FC Chernihiv project," he added.

According to Synytsia, Yarmolenko's participation in even a few matches or during part of the season could have a positive impact on the development of football in the city.

"I suppose that even if Andriy ends his football career, he could play for FC Chernihiv in a few matches or for part of the season. This would be a big boost for children's football and football in general in Chernihiv," he said.

The club owner added that he does not rule out such a possibility, but it does not apply to the current or next season.

"I do not rule out such a possibility. Of course, it will not be this season or even next season, but it could happen," said Synytsia.
