Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost a further 1,100 troops in the war against Ukraine. Total losses since the start of the full-scale invasion have exceeded 1.3 million.

Total combat losses suffered by Russian forces in the war against Ukraine between 24 February 2022 and 16 April 2026 amount to approximately 1,315,070 personnel. Over the past 24 hours, losses totalled 1,100 troops.

Furthermore, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army has lost 11,866 tanks, two of them in the last 24 hours.

The number of armoured combat vehicles stands at 24,391, one of which was destroyed in the past 24 hours.

40,046 artillery systems have been destroyed, 43 of them in the last 24 hours. There are 1,738 multiple launch rocket systems, two of which were destroyed in the last 24 hours.

1,347 air defence systems have been destroyed, one in the last 24 hours. 435 aircraft and 350 helicopters have been lost.

The number of tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles stands at 240,598, of which 1,357 were destroyed in the past 24 hours. 4,537 cruise missiles have been destroyed, 20 of them in the past 24 hours.

In addition, Russian military losses include 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 89,761 vehicles and tankers, of which 208 were destroyed in the past 24 hours, as well as 4,126 units of specialised equipment, one of them in the past 24 hours.
