Russian troop losses over the past 24 hours have exceeded 1,000

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have lost more than a thousand more troops. Total casualties since the start of the full-scale war have exceeded 1.3 million.

Total combat losses among Russian forces in the war against Ukraine from 24 February 2022 to 6 May 2026 amount to approximately 1,337,170 personnel. Over the past 24 hours, a further 1,050 military personnel have been lost.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, losses of military equipment have also been recorded.

The Russian army has lost 11,918 tanks, including one in the last 24 hours, 24,515 armoured fighting vehicles, including five in the last 24 hours, and 41,478 artillery systems, of which 92 were destroyed in the last 24 hours.

In addition, losses amount to 1,775 multiple launch rocket systems, five of which were lost in the last 24 hours, 1,363 air defence systems, two of which were lost in the last 24 hours, 435 aircraft and 352 helicopters.

There are also reports of the loss of 1,332 ground-based robotic systems, of which 12 were lost in the last 24 hours; 276,061 tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles, including 2,031 in the last 24 hours; and 4,585 cruise missiles, one of which was destroyed in the last 24 hours.

Naval losses amount to 33 ships and boats and two submarines.

In addition, 94,312 vehicles and tankers have been destroyed, including 282 in the last 24 hours, as well as 4,170 units of specialist equipment.

The General Staff noted that the figures are being updated.
