The Ukrainian national team has learned its opponents in the 2026/27 Nations League
On 12 February, the draw for the group stage of the 2026/27 UEFA Nations League took place in the Belgian capital Brussels. The Ukrainian national team was drawn into Group 2 of League B, where its opponents will be Hungary, Georgia and Northern Ireland.
The full composition of League B groups is as follows.
Group 1: Scotland, Switzerland, Slovenia, North Macedonia.
Group 2: Hungary, Ukraine, Georgia, Northern Ireland.
Group 3: Israel, Austria, Ireland, Kosovo.
Group 4: Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Sweden.
The group stage matches will take place in autumn 2026. The first round is scheduled for 24–26 September, the second for 27–30 September. The third round will run from 30 September to 3 October, and the fourth from 4 to 6 October. The final two rounds of the group stage are scheduled for 12–14 and 15–17 November 2026.
The quarter-finals and play-offs of the Nations League will take place from 25 to 30 March 2027. The semi-finals and final of the tournament are scheduled for 9–13 June 2027.
Thus, the Ukrainian national team has three opponents in the fight for promotion and a place in the decisive stages of the tournament.
