On 13 March, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris. The parties plan to discuss support for Ukraine, increasing pressure on Russia, and the conditions for a just and lasting peace.

This was reported by BFMTV.

The presidents of Ukraine and France, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Emmanuel Macron, will meet in Paris on 13 March.

According to a source from the television network in the French president's office, the talks between the two leaders will take place at the Élysée Palace.

The Élysée Palace said that Zelensky and Macron will discuss the current situation and the support of France and European partners in defending Ukraine.

A separate topic of the meeting will be ways to increase pressure on Russia.

In particular, they will discuss the fight against Russia's "shadow fleet."

The parties also plan to discuss the conditions for a just and lasting peace.

In addition, the presidents are to take stock of the commitments made within the "coalition of the determined" regarding security guarantees.

The meeting of the "coalition of the determined" took place on 24 February, the anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion.

At that time, the coalition members confirmed their role in providing multi-level security guarantees for Ukraine with the support of the United States.

In addition, on 6 January, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a declaration of intent to deploy troops in Ukraine in the event of a peace agreement.
