Zelensky appoints Sergiy Kyslytsya as first deputy head of the Presidential Administration and Christia Freeland as advisor
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree appointing Serhiy Kyslytsia as First Deputy Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine. The relevant document is published on the Presidential Office's website
Prior to that, Kyslytsia served as First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine and worked for a long time in the United States. According to Zelenskyy, his experience should strengthen Ukraine's interaction with international partners in a period of active diplomacy
As a separate decree, the President appointed Christia Freeland as an economic development adviser. Zelenskyy stressed that Freeland has significant experience in attracting investment and implementing economic reforms. She was a deputy to former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and in 2020 became the first woman to serve as Canada's Minister of Finance
