Zelensky responded to Finland's statement regarding negotiations on the US peace plan
"All decisions must be feasible to ensure lasting peace and guaranteed security," Zelensky noted.
The President of Ukraine emphasized the importance of carefully planned actions with partners to guarantee stable peace and security. The statement was made amid negotiations regarding the US peace plan, which were also discussed by Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
In a post on X, Volodymyr Zelensky highlighted that it is now critically important for every joint initiative with international partners to be well thought out and implementable.
The President also noted proper coordination and the value of advice received from allies.
The message was a reaction to Stubb's comment, who stated that he welcomes progress in the negotiations in Geneva between the US and Ukraine. At the same time, the Finnish president pointed out that there are still issues that need resolution, and any decisions within the competence of the EU or NATO will be made separately by their members.
According to ThePublic.info, after the first round of negotiations on November 23, the United States and Ukraine plan to continue working on the peace plan on November 24. Media reports suggest that the initial proposal may be amended, as it was considered too favorable to Moscow.
A visit by Zelensky to the USA this week is also not ruled out — for personal negotiations with President Donald Trump on the most sensitive aspects of the peace plan.
