In an interview with The Jerusalem Post, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine and Israel have mutual security interests. According to him, each side can be of benefit to the other. This was reported by The Public.
He noted that the Israeli side had approached him regarding the possibility of talks, and expressed his readiness for such a dialogue.
“He has what I need, and I have what he needs. So I am ready for this dialogue,” said Zelenskyy, responding to a question about possible contact with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The President also addressed the citizens of Israel living under shelling. He expressed his hope that people would not lose their loved ones, especially children.
