Zelensky imposes sanctions on 10 Russian logistics companies
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed Decree No. 212/2026, which enacted the decision of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine (NSDC) to impose sanctions on ten Russian transport and logistics companies. The document was published on the official website of the head of state.
The sanctions list includes private companies from the Russian Federation that transport goods to and from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian side, these structures provide logistical support to the Russian occupation forces.
The package of sanctions also includes companies operating in the temporarily occupied territories, using the seized infrastructure of the joint-stock company Ukrposhta. It is noted that these structures not only pay pensions and other social benefits, but also perform the functions of a so-called "passport office," where illegal passportisation of the population and delivery of summonses take place.
Postal operators have also been restricted, which, according to the Ukrainian authorities, have created schemes for the so-called parallel import of dual-use goods — in particular, electronics and drones — in circumvention of international sanctions.
Vladislav Vlasyuk, the President of Ukraine's advisor on sanctions policy, noted that postal services play a key role in the supply of microelectronics from abroad to Russia. According to him, the sanctions are aimed at blocking these channels, and the relevant information has already been passed on to international partners.
