Zelensky concluded negotiations in London and departed for Brussels
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky left Downing Street after the final round of talks with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Before leaving, the leaders exchanged a traditional warm embrace — this has become a familiar detail of their meetings in London. This was reported by The Public with reference to The Guardian.
The visits of three key guests to the British Prime Minister ended with Zelensky's departure — French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz left the residence earlier.
In the evening, the head of state is expected to arrive in Brussels. There, talks are planned with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, European Council President António Costa, and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The key topics are expected to be military support for Ukraine, security guarantees, and coordination of actions among allies.
On Tuesday, the Ukrainian president is invited to Rome, where he will continue his international meetings as part of his diplomatic tour.
