Juvenile prosecutors of the Vyshhorod district prosecutor's office have forwarded an indictment to the court in a case concerning a crime against the sexual freedom and inviolability of a minor.

This was reported by ThePublic.info citing the Office of the Prosecutor General.

The investigation established that the family lived in the Vyshhorod district. The mother and her cohabitant were not officially employed anywhere. However, the family was not registered with the authorized services.

For several months, the man systematically abused the child, and the mother not only knew about it but also helped conceal the crime. The woman forced her daughter to stay silent, threatened her, and followed the instructions of her cohabitant. Additionally, she took intimate photographs of her daughter, which she passed to the man to satisfy his sexual needs.

The crime came to light when the cohabitant beat the woman, and she immediately contacted the police. At that moment, the girl reported to law enforcement about the abuse she had endured for a long time.

"The actions of the accused are qualified under Part 2 of Article 28, Part 6 of Article 152, Part 4 of Article 153, Part 2 of Article 156, and Part 4 of Article 301-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — rape and sexual violence against a minor, committed by a group of persons. Both have been taken into custody. The prosecutor's office will insist on the strictest punishment," the statement reads.
