ATB co-owner Hennadiy Butkevych has stated that he had nothing to do with posting bail for former Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov. The statement came following the publication of new transcripts of conversations involving Timur Mindich, in which Butkevych’s name was mentioned in connection with efforts to raise money for bail.

The Cabinet of Ministers has submitted draft law No. 15212 to the Verkhovna Rada, proposing amendments to the Law “On Anti-Doping Activities in Sport”. The bill is intended to bring Ukrainian regulations into line with the updated 2027 World Anti-Doping Code and WADA’s international standards, which come into force on 1 January 2027.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau has identified phishing emails being sent out purportedly on its behalf. Such messages may contain malicious links or attachments and come from email addresses similar to the NABU’s official addresses.
MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak stated that during a meeting between parliamentary factions and the government, he asked acting SBU head Yevhen Khmara about the owners of anonymous Telegram channels. According to the MP, the SBU confirmed that they are still “on hold”, although the published document suggests that some of these individuals are on the Service’s reserve list.
In Kyiv, a 36-year-old man has been charged with fraud; according to the investigation, he posed as an SBU officer and swindled a People’s Artist of Ukraine out of over $128,000 and 400,000 hryvnias. Law enforcement officials have not officially disclosed the victim’s name, but UNN, citing its own source, reports that the victim is Valentina Antoniuk.
The Turkish Eren Retail Group is closing all SuperStep stores in Ukraine. The chain is set to cease operations in May–June 2026, though the company states that this does not mean it is withdrawing from the Ukrainian market altogether: the Lacoste stores, which are also managed by the Eren Retail Group, will continue to operate.
The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has upheld the civil forfeiture of assets belonging to the family of Taras Polienko, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv. Over 8.3 million hryvnias are to be recovered for the state – this includes the value of a penthouse, proceeds from its sale, and two parking spaces in the “Zarechnyi” residential complex in Kyiv.
The Verkhovna Rada has passed Bill No. 13693 on honouring the memory of fallen defenders. The bill provides for the establishment of National Military Memorial Cemeteries in all regions of Ukraine and introduces standardised procedures for the burial of fallen servicemen.
The Verkhovna Rada has adopted amendments to the Law “On International Commercial Arbitration”. The new rules expand the list of disputes that may be referred to international arbitration, including investment disputes and corporate disputes involving enterprises with foreign capital.
Ukraine has lodged a complaint with YouTube regarding an advertisement for “Alabuga Polytech”, which is part of the “Alabuga” special economic zone in Russia, currently subject to sanctions. According to Ukrainian authorities, students there, including minors, are being recruited to manufacture Shahed attack drones.
