$10 million for his head. Money has been raised in Iraq for a bounty on Trump’s life
US President Donald Trump
A fundraising campaign has been announced in Iraq offering a reward for the assassination of US President Donald Trump. A sum of 10 million dollars is promised to any individual, organisation or institution that organises an assassination attempt on the American leader.

This is according to Rzeczpospolita.

The money for the bounty was raised through voluntary donations from militants in Iraq. In their view, the attempt on Trump’s life is intended as revenge for the 2020 killing of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani and the deputy commander of the Iraqi Popular Mobilisation Forces, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.

Both were killed in Baghdad as a result of a US drone strike. The order to carry out the killing was allegedly given personally by the US leader at the time.

“The free people of the world will continue to pursue the murderers of children and scientists, and the oppressors will never know peace,” the militants stated.

It should be recalled that Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed that Tehran is trying to assassinate him. In an interview with the New York Post, he said that he had even drawn up instructions in case Iran killed him. In them, he orders that “they be bombed in a way they have never seen before”.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has also declared his intention to assassinate Trump. He wishes to avenge the assassination of his father and predecessor, Ali Khamenei, who was killed in air strikes by Israel and the US on 28 February.

As a reminder, it was previously reported that gold coins bearing the portrait of Donald Trump are to be issued in the US.

The Turkish Ministry of Defence has stated that it is continuing to work on the issue of the Russian S-400 air defence missile systems, but has not confirmed reports of their possible sale or transfer to a third country. It is precisely this condition that is considered key to Ankara’s possible return to the US F-35 fighter jet programme.
