114 restoration projects: what exactly is being implemented in the regions
The information was released by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine following a meeting of the Expert Working Group.
The meeting of the Expert Working Group on the initiation, preparation, support and implementation of joint projects with the European Investment Bank took place within the framework of the Emergency Credit Programme for the Recovery of Ukraine, the Ukraine Recovery Programme and the Ukraine Recovery Programme III. It was chaired by Oleksiy Ryabikin, Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine.
"Each project addresses the specific needs of communities: quality healthcare, safe education, reliable infrastructure and basic services that people receive every day. All of them are implemented with state budget funds raised through a loan from the European Investment Bank," said Oleksiy Ryabikin.
Which projects are recommended for funding
Kirovohrad region — 5 projects:
— reconstruction of a shelter in the Novoprazhsk community lyceum;
— major repairs to a shelter in the Haivoron community;
— reconstruction of the water supply system in the Novomyrhorod community;
— construction of a protective structure in the Pomichna community kindergarten;
— reconstruction of a medical facility in the Kropyvnytskyi community.
Kyiv region — 11 projects:
— construction of a kindergarten in the Boryspil community;
— major repairs to premises in a medical facility in the Bila Tserkva community;
— major repairs to an educational institution in the Tomashiv community;
— reconstruction of the water supply network in the Fastiv community;
— construction of protective structures in educational institutions in the Tarashcha and Baryshiv communities;
— major repairs to water supply networks in the Baryshiv and Vasylkiv communities;
— reconstruction of a sewage pumping station in the Boryspil community.
Ivano-Frankivsk region — 6 projects:
— major repairs to medical facilities in the Kolomyia and Lysets communities;
— reconstruction of the water supply system in the Horodenka community;
— construction of a sewage network in the Kolomyia community;
— reconstruction of treatment facilities in the Bohorodchany community;
— construction of a solid fuel boiler room in the Kalush community.
Cherkasy region — 4 projects:
— major repairs to medical facilities in the Palanska and Zvenyhorodska communities;
— major repairs to a lyceum in the Bobrytska community;
— reconstruction of utility networks in the Uman community.
At previous meetings, 76 projects from frontline territories were recommended for funding:
— 4 — Zaporizhzhia region;
— 2 — Donetsk;
— 13 — Dnipropetrovsk;
— 15 — Mykolaiv region;
— 11 — Odesa region;
— 8 — Sumy region;
— 9 — Kharkiv region;
— 8 — Chernihiv region;
— 6 — Kherson region.
Seven projects in Zhytomyr Oblast and five projects in Vinnytsia Oblast were approved separately.
The selection of projects is ongoing.
