2 February was declared a day of mourning at DTEK for the miners who died in Dnipropetrovsk region
DTEK declared 2 February a day of mourning for the employees of a mine in Dnipropetrovsk region who died as a result of a Russian attack. This was reported by the press service of the energy company.
It is noted that yesterday's strike by Russian troops claimed the lives of several DTEK employees. This tragedy was the company's greatest simultaneous loss since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine and one of the most tragic days in DTEK's history.
The company emphasised that it is in constant contact with the families of the deceased and is providing all necessary assistance to the injured employees.
"We mourn together with the families of the victims. Eternal memory to our colleagues who gave their lives to provide the country with light," DTEK said in a statement.
