All the round of 32 fixtures for the 2026 World Cup have been decided and the knockout stage draw has been finalised
The group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which ran from 11 to 28 June, has come to an end. As a result, 32 of the 48 teams taking part in the tournament have qualified for the knockout stages.
The following teams have progressed to the round of 32 at the World Cup: Mexico, the USA, Germany, Argentina, France, Norway, Colombia, Switzerland, Canada, Brazil, Morocco, South Africa, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Côte d’Ivoire, Ecuador, the Netherlands, Japan, Sweden, Australia, Spain, Cape Verde, Belgium, Egypt, Paraguay, Senegal, Portugal, England, Ghana, Croatia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Austria and Algeria.
All the round of 16 fixtures have now been decided.

On 29 June, Brazil will play Japan, whilst Germany will face Paraguay. On 30 June, the Netherlands will take on Morocco, and Côte d’Ivoire will play Norway.
On 1 July, France will face Sweden, Mexico will meet Ecuador, England will play the DR Congo, and Belgium will face Senegal.
On 2 July, the USA will play Bosnia and Herzegovina, whilst Spain will face Austria.
On 3 July, Portugal will play Croatia, Switzerland will face Algeria, and Australia will take on Egypt.
On 4 July, Argentina will face Cape Verde, whilst Colombia will play Ghana.
The tournament final will take place on 19 July in East Rutherford, a suburb of New York.
The 2026 World Cup is being held in the USA, Mexico and Canada. This is the first World Cup in history to feature 48 national teams. Previously, from 1998 to 2022, 32 teams took part in the tournament.
All teams have been divided into 12 groups of four. The top two teams from each group, along with the eight best third-placed teams, have qualified for the round of 16. The tournament will then continue in a knockout format.
