The depth of the epicentre was 7 kilometres.
What was the magnitude of the tremors?

What is known about seismic activity in Ukraine
As a reminder, a seismologist previously explained why a series of earthquakes struck the occupied Crimea and whether this poses a risk of damage.
Over a two-day period, seven tremors were recorded, with the strongest reaching 4.5 on the Richter scale.
Meanwhile, scientists have noted that a major earthquake in Crimea could recur according to the so-called ‘century cycle’, and this forecast remains valid.
However, the seismologist believes that the earthquakes will ultimately destroy the Crimean Bridge.
The Russians built the bridge in breach of building regulations, and the underground tremors have a “cumulative effect”. This will ultimately destroy the bridge.
