Apple plans to unveil a new iPad mini in October 2026, which will feature an OLED display for the first time to deliver better picture quality.

This is according to Bloomberg.

Meanwhile, new 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air models are scheduled for release this autumn, along with the latest update to the iPad Pro range.

The base model iPad is expected in the first quarter of 2027. The device will be equipped with a more powerful processor.

Stable demand for tablets is strengthening the company’s position: according to forecasts, revenue from iPad sales will rise by 6% in the current financial year, reaching approximately $30 billion.

Against the backdrop of this news, Apple’s shares rose by 0.8% in recent trading, and have risen by 21.4% since the start of the year.

As a reminder, it was previously reported that Apple and Google had removed the Russian app VK from their app stores following EU sanctions.
