Drone attacks have been reported in several regions of western Ukraine, resulting in injuries, power cuts and damage to homes.

There have been casualties in Ternopil following a drone attack. This was reported by Hanna Monchak, deputy head of the emergency medical services centre.

Part of the city is without electricity. Specifically, this affects the neighbourhoods of Kanada, Tsentr, Novyi Svit, Staryi Park, as well as part of the Soniachnyi district. This was announced by the mayor, Serhii Nadal.

Rescue workers have been deployed to tackle the fires. According to Serhiy Danilin, spokesperson for the regional State Emergency Service, fire-fighting operations were ongoing in the city.

Today, Russia attacked the Vinnytsia region with dozens of drones. According to the head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, Natalia Zabolotna, 74 drones were detected in the airspace.

A private residential building was destroyed when one of the drones crashed. A woman was injured and has been hospitalised; her life is not in danger.

According to available information, the drones entered via the Sumy region and passed through the Kyiv and Cherkasy regions. Explosions were first heard in the Khmelnytskyi region, after which the drones headed towards the Ternopil region.

According to monitoring data, around 60 drones were used during the attack on Ternopil, causing a series of explosions and smoke. There were power cuts in the city.

Explosions were also reported in Rivne. The Air Force had warned of drones moving towards the city.
