No strike force has been detected on Belarusian territory, but the development of military infrastructure near the Ukrainian border is continuing. At the same time, according to Ukrainian intelligence, Russia continues to put pressure on Minsk to play a more active role in the war.

Andriy Demchenko, a spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, stated that, despite the absence of an enemy strike force on Belarusian territory, Ukrainian intelligence is monitoring the continued development of military infrastructure near the border with Ukraine.

According to him, this involves the construction and development of training grounds, sites for the deployment of personnel and equipment, as well as logistics routes. Such work is most active in the Chernihiv and Kyiv regions. Near the Volyn and Rivne regions, this activity is, according to Demchenko, less pronounced.

At the same time, the State Border Guard Service spokesperson noted that, according to Ukrainian intelligence, Russia continues to exert pressure on Belarus to involve its forces on a larger scale in the war against Ukraine.

“Overall, as noted by intelligence units, Russia continues to put pressure on Belarus to commit its forces on a larger scale to the war unleashed by Russia against our country. Belarus is resisting this and is doing everything it can to withstand this pressure. However, the threat to Ukraine as a whole in this direction remains, and our primary task is to strengthen our defensive capabilities along the border and in the border areas so that we are prepared for any developments,” said Demchenko.
